Well, we wrapped up the second best week of the year following holiday home tour week. It’s been a week full of cozy, warm colors and textures in what we’ve named fall home tour week.
I along with 5 other bloggers shared our home tours on Monday and then 20 something more home tours followed this week. If you missed out, there’s still time. Lots of time actually because those tours aren’t going anywhere.
We are in Atlanta for the weekend to see Parker’s parents and I made the most of our unwelcomed airport delay by catching up on all the home tours from the week. I left almost every tour thinking, “man, why didn’t I do that?” If I had the time and money to redecorate for fall over and over again, I might consider it, but since I don’t I decided to round up the high points from the tours this week.
We all know the fall “go-tos” – pumpkins, leaves, anything orange, straw, cozy blankets and more pumpkins. There’s a reason those are staples – you just can’t go wrong with them. They will never fail you when decorating for fall. Sometimes, however, it’s fun to change things up and go for the unexpected with seasonal decor because why not? The great thing about the pieces below is that they aren’t strictly for fall. Most of them will hold up year round. You could mix them with traditional fall pieces for a fun twist or you could force them to go solo and make it work. The snapshots below all work (very well). Enjoy!
