Traditional Guest Room Reveal 57

Welcome to what I am calling a traditional guest room with soul.  This is the guest room in my parents’ home, which is very traditional – lots of traditional shape and color, and I wanted the guest room to reflect that but also have a life of its own.

The individual colors can be considered traditional – especially the golden bed and red rug, but the added contrasting colors and textures really spice it up.

  1. gorgeous!!! i LOVE that wall paper! Actually just consulted on a bathroom with that exact wall paper. Oh, and your color combos are incredible, definitely your magical touch!

  2. Claire, this is so wonderful and welcoming and cozy! I think the yellow bed, blue nightstand, and fabulous wallpaper are my favorite parts! I’m laughing at the gold wall clock… that’s the exact one that I cut the face out of and used for a ceiling medallion in my bedroom! 😉

  3. Wowwwwww!! Love the jewel tones in this design space! So beautiful!! I especially love those rich ever-green night stands!! You really have an eye for design! Stunning make-over!
