I’m a last minute holiday kind of girl. I always have the best intentions of going all out for holidays and then the week of rolls around and I convince myself it’s too late. I LOVE the Fourth of July. It’s the epitome of summer, right? While we do have fun plans for this weekend to celebrate the holiday, I was honestly just planning on throwing on a red, white and blue themed outfit, snapping an Instagram and calling myself festive. Well, with Pinterest out there, there’s just not an excuse for not putting in more effort with how much I love this holiday.
I rounded up a few Fourth of July ideas that caught my attention but the kicker is that they can all happen in under 10 minutes. Maybe 30. Most of the supplies/ingredients are items that you have in your home. I thought it was only fitting for me to share last minute Fourth of July ideas with you guys. Really simple and ADORABLE ideas.
Last Minute Fourth of July Ideas:
Could these rice krispie treats be any cuter?? The only problem is that when I make rice krispies I usually eat half of the pan. Why are they so addicting??
Firecracker popcorn… Now that’s festive. I’m actually drooling as I type this.
Really simple craft for a centerpiece. Pick flowers up at the grocery store and give the mason jars to the kids (or husband) for a little craft project. Parker would actually not go for that.
It never fails that I fall into a daze after seeing the intricate, perfectly painted nails on Pinterest and then I try and end up painting more of my hand than nails. This blogger shares a great trick that looks fool-proof! I’m thinking about it..
Free fourth of July printable banner.. Don’t mind if I do.
Red velvet pancakes with coconut syrup and blueberries…. waaaaat….. I will be doing this.
It ain’t a party without a scavenger hunt..I just decided. How much fun would this be?
What I meant was, it’s not a party without a good cocktail. And that’s the truth. This blueberry coconut sparkler is right down my alley.
