Last week I shared one of the hangouts in the guest suite, the dining/study, and this week I have the guest suite entry to share. (A look back at the inspiraiton and design plan for the room.) This area technically isn’t an “entry” as the room is a rectangle with two dormers (need to share a floor plan…), so there isn’t a separate entry area, but I thought a console/mirror was an appropriate choice for this wall space between the two dormers.
The styling on this area is pretty fall heavy, but that’s what you get when you go to Homegoods in September. (Not complaining, but the styling could change a bit down the road.)
mirror | console table | stool | basket | olive suede pillows | plaid throw blanket (similar) | blue and white jars | cotton branches
I was drawn to this console table from the start but was unsure of how it would be in person. It’s made to look like a concrete table, which I thought would be a nice style contrast against the high gloss white floors. I was really blown away with the table in person. Definitely exceeded my expectations. It looks like it weighs 190 pounds, but it’s actually not too heavy.
Hoping to share the DIY for the floors and baseboards next week!
